CONTEXT

Public consultation for the City of Lévis

Year 2023

Client Ville de Lévis

Service Public Consultation

The City of Lévis commissioned the Percolab cooperative to conduct a series of public and internal consultations, including six public events, four targeted workshops and an online survey to gather diverse perspectives on road safety and mobility.

OUR ROLE

Percolab was responsible for designing and facilitating the consultations, collecting and analyzing data from the various stakeholders, and preparing a comprehensive report on the results of the consultations.

A radically creative process WITH three phases

01 – Public consultations

A series of six consultations in various boroughs of the city to engage in deep listening and dialogue with local residents.

02 – Targeted consultations

With community groups, elected officials and city workers to develop a realistic and ambitious strategy.

03 – Online survey

A light and engaging online data collection was available for residents who were unable to participate in person.

IMPACT

The consultations provided valuable insight into the community’s views on road safety and mobility. Key themes included the importance of sharing the road, speed management, network fluidity, universal accessibility and preventive awareness campaigns.

This information will inform the development of a comprehensive road safety strategy for the City of Lévis, promoting shared responsibility and a cultural shift towards safer road use.
