Anaïs works to (re)place people at the heart of territorial transformations, by supporting projects with, for and by local residents. A subtle blend of sensitivity – creativity – engineering, she mobilizes collective and emotional intelligence to co-construct impactful projects that are anchored locally and sustainably. Her innovative approach, centered on uses and lived experience, is based on a learning process nourished by action research carried out with CIRAD, leading her to explore new, more sensitive, more embodied ways of doing things. It strives to create the conditions for sincere dialogue between the players involved in the city of tomorrow, in order to: bring out a shared vision, facilitate collective decision-making and strengthen ownership of projects. David Kaiser

Public health and preventive medicine specialist at the Montreal public health department. David works on various issues related to the urban environment and health, including housing, environmental noise and extreme heat. He is director of the residency program in Public health and preventive medicine at McGill University and clinical assistant professor in the Department of social and preventive medicine at ESPUM and in the Department of epidemiology, biostatistics and occupational health at McGill University.

An explorer of horizons and possibilities, Fanny began collaborating with Percolab in October 2016. She has a background in community sector and citizen initiative work and co-directed a training center on collective intelligence in Montpellier for 3 years (Centre des pratiques de la coopération). Constantly involved in playful, visual projects, she supports individuals working towards professional fulfillment and teams moving towards collective intelligence and innovation. As a graphic facilitator, she explores the use of drawing and other communication channels to nurture co-creation and well-being at work. Through workshops, seminars and trainings, she shares her knowledge with kindness…and humour!

Jane is a practitioner and co-creator for the future of work and community in healthy and meaningful ways. She brings great passion, depth and authenticity to her work designing and hosting spaces for transformation and regeneration in community and organisations.

Jane is an experienced Art of Hosting and Circle practitioner and brings Going Horizontal practices into communities and businesses to shift the way we show up and work together.

Jane is a nature lover, bush walker, food and flower grower. She dreams of vibrant communities living in ways that really care and support each other and the earth. Her professional background in large food companies, and as a long time partner and mother to three wild and beautiful people has informed her knowing that a different path is needed. Jane has lived experience navigating the education, disability and mental health systems.

She deeply believes that curiosity, kindness and working with natural rhythms and indigenous ways can guide us to thrive, and is committed to these practices in her own life and relationships.

Karine Zufferey

Karine has over 10 years’ experience as a creator of international multi-stakeholder projects and events. Her experience working with a wide diversity of organizations has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of group dynamics and collaboration, notably through the use of design thinking methodologies. Professionally trained in mediation and conflict prevention, she puts mutual understanding and creativity at the centre to (re-)build connections and leverage transformative processes for groups and individuals. Lori has over 25 years of experience facilitating a wide variety of participatory processes, both in Canada and internationally. Bringing both a playful and a serene approach to the work, she shares the tools needed to uncover the clarity in a complex situation. Mel Geltch

Participatory Practice – Facilitation – Coaching

Mel is an organisational and community activist, practising and accompanying others in a generative shift towards and back to shared leadership and cooperation. She brings energy, courage, generosity and optimism to her work in Percolab, nourished by foundational experiences in a big farming family. Her deep curiosity and sense of justice has been fuelled by witnessing and experiencing a wide spectrum of humanity in her work in journalism, Australian cultural institutions and NGOs serving vulnerable humans, and her international adventures.

Mel co-founded Campfire Coop in Australia in 2017, with a deep commitment to shared leadership and a strong entrepreneurial desire to create the kind of workplace she and others dreamed of. A sister organisation to Percolab, it is now part of the Percolab international team. Mel is a skilled and experienced practitioner, capacity builder, and continuous learner in approaches to support healthy workplaces, communities, and systems.

She is active in the Art of Hosting, Cooperative, and Wellbeing Economy networks, and believes that our shared futures depend on us working together like never before, for and with people, the land, and all life.

Nadine Jouanen

Bringing 25 years of experience with collaborative processes, training, and organisational change, Nadine’s work focuses on meaning-making and fostering a learning culture within organisations and communities. Adept at co-designing large-scale participatory events that make use of collective intelligence, Nadine brings great care to the communities she works with – facilitating conversations of any size to maximize participation, creativity and civic spirit.

Nick Takavadii

Nick is a Participatory Leadership and collaboration enthusiast. He is a proud Shona man from Zimbabwe, now an Australian citizen. His understanding of leadership was fundamentally transformed in 2006 when he discovered the Art of Hosting (participatory leadership) at Kufunda Learning Village in Zimbabwe, where he served on the Board of Trustees for a number of years. His unlearning and relearning continues.

Nick’s work across Southern Africa as a software systems consultancy business owner, and his process host work here in Australia, brings a deep understanding of the richness and challenges of the need for authentic participation and diversity in our organisations and communities. Courageous collaboration and relationships are at the core of how Nick shows up in his family, community and voluntary work and in his work with Percolab.

Nina Signard-Lombart

With a diploma in social entrepreneurship and political science, Nina is passionate about public participation and engagement and mobilisation across all spheres of society in response to today’s social, political, and environmental challenges. With a particular focus on well-being and mental health, she supports courageous systems in implementing collaborative and participatory practices that take care of the people within them. She experiments with tools and processes to challenge and support teams in amplifying the meaning and reach of their actions. At Percolab, she works on impact measurement from a socio-ecological transition perspective.

Paul Messer

Paul Messer is a product designer, process facilitator, and systems analyst with a passion for unlocking collective creativity. He blends design thinking with participatory leadership, fostering more human-centered approaches to work. Trained in the UK, Paul has worked across Europe and North America, supporting organizations to adopt bolder, more human ways of working.

As a Harvester, Paul supports individual and collective meaning-making. His approach is to be playful in how visual and design thinking can weave with collective intelligence. Either creating visual harvest, interactive sense-making tools, or developing new practices, Paul has applied his craft to helping unpack complex systemic issues in education, product development, organisational development, public consultation, and technology and innovation.

Samantha Slade

Participatory Strategy  –  Self-organization – Learning Thinking

A conscious entrepreneur, Samantha co-founded the international Percolab network and the coworking Ecto.  For over 20 years, she has been putting her background in anthropology and learning design in service of innovation work in North America and internationally.  Emergent process, design thinking, ethnography and a vast range of participatory approaches are her tools. Samantha is actively engaged in the future of cities, the international commons movement, and the Art of Hosting community. Samantha supports teams, organizations and ecosystems to grow participatory leadership approaches, collaborative practices and prototype mindsets.

While living in China for 13 years, Simon launched Mercedes Benz’s digital innovation lab in Beijing, won the Reddot Product Design Award and Tech Crunch startup competition for creating ATMOBLUE, as well as pioneering several sustainable lifestyle projects in fashion, travel, and F&B. He speaks English, French, and Mandarin and is a yoga teacher and world traveler.

With over a decade of work in socio-ecological transition, health and safety and quality management domains, Sophie continues working at the heart of ecosystems while growing her creativity and knowledge. Linh Pham

Linh believes that stories have tremendous potential to bring about change. He practises deep listening and distils stories centred around self-management practices to help build more human-centred work environments. He builds on his previous experience as an editor for Saigoneer magazine.

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in the US, Linh joined a large corporation – where he experienced a stifling and restrictive work environment, which set him on his life’s journey. For almost a decade now, he has been working within co-management models and empowering leadership methods. He supports teams and groups in building more flexible and effective organisational approaches.

Linh is co-founder of Dom Dom Lab in Vietnam committed to bringing our whole selves to the work place and strengthening collaboration and organisational innovation that is now part of Percolab. Ellie Nguyen

Learning – Shared leadership – Complexity

Ellie is a skilled practitioner who helps courageous conversations happen and promotes the creation of holistic work environments. She has a decade of lived experience in shared leadership. 

Ellie thrives in complexity and working with multi-stakeholder systems. She honed her facilitation skills with the WE programme, improving human rights and working conditions. Her astute listening and ability to ask powerful questions grew from working directly with factory workers and coffee farmers in their communities. In 2015, she participated in Knowmads Hanoi, a capacity-building programme for young leaders, with co-creative internships and shared leadership models such as the Art of Hosting and the Teal organisation.

Trang Nguyen

Sustainability – Systems design – Collective leadership

Trang builds on the inherent diversity of organisations and ecosystems, using collective intelligence to address complex issues on the path to Sustainable Development. A former Computer Science Engineer, Trang was fascinated that just a few simple structures could teach computers to solve complex problems and brings this skill set to her work in healthy collaboration and self-managing systems.

An expert facilitator, Trang brought together factory workers, bosses, and company owners to the same table to work together to raise the level of welfare of workers. She can hold dialogues between seemingly conflictual groups with care and skill around the power dynamics.

Trang is co-founder of Dom Dom Lab in Vietnam, committed to bringing our whole selves to the workplace and strengthening collaboration and organisational innovation that is now part of Percolab. She is stewarding a dream on a parcel of land in the mountains of Vietnam (Hoa Binh), regenerating the land and building a community or sustainability practices. Lannah Nguyen

Inclusive leadership – Applied Art

With more than two decades of experience in social change initiatives, Lannah cares about the contribution of marginalized voices. She is at ease facilitating large groups of 500+ people. Lannah weaves her varied skills from working in journalism, theatre, the film industry, teaching, and environmental engineering into her work, from acting, directing, film writing, producing, storytelling to strategy in ambiguity. 

Lannah’s capacity to focus on the transformative potential of group dynamics and discomfort grew out of her facilitation and coaching work with diverse teams, from young people, community groups, to organizations like the United Nations Population Fund, looking to embrace inclusive leadership. She is a seasoned practitioner in the Art of Hosting and Harvesting field in Vietnam and a Flow Game host. Lannah taught Applied Art at FPT University.

With a Master’s in Human Geography, Thao has hands-on experience in urban climate resilience projects across Southeast Asia. She was a founding fellow of Teach for Vietnam and a skilled learning designer.

She integrates inner transformation and outer impact, bringing mindfulness and social-emotional learning to collaboration. Clients value her ability to bridge diverse perspectives and bring play and heart into her work.
