ePortfolios can help to identify evaluate and recognise competences and they can also help to communicate, mobilise and develop competences. Indeed, part of the strength of ePortfolios is the capacity to integrate processes and to accompany or bring about transformation. ePortfolios are about all that you, your team or your organisation are and all that you can be.

• Develop your capacity to identify if and how an ePortfolio could help enable and integrated capacity in your organisation.
• Develop success strategies for defining and implementing an eportoflio project

Approach

This workshop provides the foundations to better understand the world of ePortfolios including  definitions and characteristics of ePortfolios and associated technological and social issues.  You will be able to see and understand some best practices of ePortfolios in various domains of implementation from organisational development, to improving labor market functioning, to transitioning to lifelong learning. You will learn to distinguish different types of ePortofolio software and tools (mostly open source). The workshop will also offer practical information on how to locate, adapt or develop competence frameworks and how to develop a successful ePortfolio project.

The workshop  is

• hands on and participatory;
• adapted to the level of expertise of participants; and
• aimed at developing your autonomy.

Practical information

• Duration: a half day, a full day or two days

• Number of participants: Maximum 20
• Room
  • Room with minimum one computer per two people with internet connection or
  • Room with internet and employee offices nearby (for hands on activities)
• Each participant must have either a CV, job profile or team profile in hand
