Going Horizontal Practice Swap: Group Learning and Development with Nathalie Sabourin

Nathalie Sabourin, our guest for the month of June, is a practitioner of group development and collaborative facilitation. She supports organizations to transform their culture, propel collective strengths and build participatory, high-performance leadership. Nathalie co-authored the book Collaborer et agir, mieux et autrement : guide pratique pour implanter des groupes de codéveloppement professionnel (Collaborating and Acting, Better and Differently: A How-To Guide to Set Up Professional Co-Development Groups; in French only). Thanks to her experience working with teams and leaders, both in Quebec and internationally, Nathalie believes in the transformational power of collaborative approaches. She proposes a practice for learning and developing with the support of our peers. Co-development is an innovative practice that stimulates the creation of a learning culture and the development of leadership beyond silos.

The Going Horizontal Practice Swap consists of short experimental sessions where the wider community shares in our different horizontal operating practices. We are all pioneers in these practices and it is important to give ourselves the opportunity to discover what others are doing and to learn together. We will use the book Going Horizontal as a reference to propose a common language to the community.
